This book was on my reading list for university, among others all available via amazon so that is where I decided to purchase them. I’ve had no problem with the others books that I have purchased. However, the pages in this book have started to separate from the spine starting from the middle of the book. This is highly annoying as for the price, I was hoping to sell on in order to pay for next years books. I would like to point out that I have only lightly used this book and it has been handled will care always so I can’t understand how this has happened!

Book has started to come apart and not waterproof. Also when I first brought the book it got lost in transit and so I had to buy another, it has taken a while for a refund to come through. I did write a review previously but I think it was removed

Was far too basic for what I was looking for having already completed my LLB. I was looking for something to help bridge the gap between doing my LLB 20 years ago and starting my LLM now!
Having said that, it would make a great addition to any student at the beginning of their LLB journey!

As a university student in their first year I struggled to get into academic reading, however this book is great and really helps get you into the habit of how to read and understand the English Legal System. The price is not too bad and is cheaper on Amazon than other book places I looked. Great for uni or if someone is looking just to learn a bit more about the law. Do recommend!
