I have tried several books before with limited success. This book is very good. It’s is dry easy to read and understand (there’s a hint in the title). Graham English clearly has extensive knowledge of the software and audio recording in general and manages to get this across in an easily digestible way. Like other purchasers, I agree that the black and white images in the book are not always clear although I would note that this type of image is very common in all “…For Dummies” books. However, as suggested by others, I asked Graham for colour copies of the numerous illustrations and these were duly shared with me by Graham. I am very impressed and definitely and very happy customer.

This is a well written and comprehensive book covering all aspects of Logic Pro. However it is completely let down by the screenshot image reproduction! These images are low resolution and very very poor contrast making it difficult to read any text within the image! This is clearly not the fault of the author but Wiley the publisher. If the images were up to scratch then it would have been a 5 star review.

This is a great reference book but as other customers have noted some of the photos are not very clear. However an email to the author resulted in clear electronic images being sent out. A fantastic response indeed.

Very poor quality of printed images within the book where some of the images you can hardly make out just looks like a black blob on the page – would I recommend this book? NO – if you do go for this book I would recommend buying the kindle version for the clear images.

Straight forward information; a good reference book.
