There’s trouble in paradise…
Moving home in her 30s was not the life plan Jas had in mind. So when her best friend gets in touch to say she’s arranging a long overdue reunion with their high school friends, Jas is very much up for the escape. Oh, and it’s all expenses paid to Italy – so that’s a bonus!
But while being whisked away to the beautiful Italian coast may seem idyllic, Jas has to come face to face with not only her ex-boyfriend, but the one that got away too!
It’s a week of sun, sea and unravelling secrets, and as the love triangle from the past starts to develop once again, this trip is not panning out exactly as Jas imagines…
Should the past be left where it is, or could there be a second chance at love on the horizon..?

Thoroughly loved this book loved the characters and the holistic approach to their depth from the format of present and now… set in 08 and present day it brought up lots of fond memories and feelings from being around their age at that time and now the contrast to adulthood very relatable.

Very random. The storyline made no sense and the sex holiday was very random. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

This book is well written and its a nice easy read.
Cute story of high school friends and a timeline that moved between then and now.
Funny points and some suspense with small romantic bits.
Has a bit of everything and the story has a bit of a happy ending feeling but not one of those too good to be true movie like arguments.
I enjoyed reading it

Not sure I understood what was going on – somewhat contrived. Probably wasn’t in the mood for it !!

The premise of this book was great, a holiday reunion in Italy with six friends, fifteen years later. The story flits between their past (school days) and the present which I really enjoyed as it gave a much deeper understanding of the characters and their behaviours.
This book is so much more than your typical romcom, whilst it has the trademark wit and romance that Portia does so well, it also has plenty of suspense and mystery which I really loved. A gorgeous second chance romance that’ll have you turning the pages quickly to see what happens next. Highly recommend.

Loved this book from this Author from start to finish. I don’t normally like books that go back and forth to different years but couldn’t put this down ????

I enjoyed reading this. I felt I would love the holiday as it sounded like an interesting place. It was quite a light hearted read and I found when I started I read it quite quickly. I do feel the ending felt quite sudden. I would have liked it to be a bit longer.
The stories are completely separate but the character Clarky has featured in another book with different people called time of our lives causing mayhem which is also a good read.
