Yes, you can literally grow your own sustainable health care! This Book shows you how! Herbal medicine can change the World; they always have. But too many of us have forgotten. In ever-demanding times of climate change chaos, Covid and conflicts, our ability to reclaim our healing has never mattered more. Knowledge traditionally passed through villages and communities through Mothers, healers, druids, and herbalists prepared us for season change and crisis. They evoked an understanding that we were all custodians, assured of understandings and herbal remedies that reinforced protection. ‘Lost in Lyme’ is a dedication to this protection. Written to highlight the devastating impact of undiagnosed Lyme disease on countless lives, the Book reclaims the relationship to herbal medicines. It reminds us of a symbiotic understanding that complements rather than competes with modern bio-medicine. The Authors’ accessible reminder strikes a balance that has now become a helpful gift in our home kitchen. Alongside a tic remover, ‘Lost in Lyme’  is a newly trusted manual for my whole family ( and dog!) as we continue the wrestle the wild, confidently lose each other camping and gently awaken our inner shamans. I missed the 60s, but who knew ‘growing your own’ could be so fun?  Atif ✨

Having personally suffered the effects copious amounts of antibiotics do to our body, learning early last year I had a diagnosis after over a decade of poor health, my only path was going to be a natural one.

Having read most books related to Lyme disease and going down the “rabbit hole” so to speak in terms of finding health, I immediately had to have this book when I saw it for sale.

Julia’s passion for plants is immediately clear in her writing style and depth of understanding. It’s easy to read but goes deep into the history and actual functionality of each plant with good pictures and layout too.

Even after reading multiple books on Lyme disease, many of the medicinal plants Julia writes about I haven’t heard of before and am now very eager to try.

Lost in Lyme comes highly recommended from someone who actually has Lyme disease and has read most of the books out there on the subject. It clearly took a lot of time and passion to bring to print and is reflected in the pages.

Lost in Lyme is a comprehensive guide on the therapeutic use of medicinal plants to support people who have the extremely challenging condition of Lyme disease. It is thorough, very accessible and beautifully presented. Chapters include information on what Lyme disease is, including the stages of the disease; diagnosis and testing; minimising risk, precautions and differential diagnosis; medical treatment and herbal remedies; herbal support for Lyme disease; co-infections of Lyme disease; self-help; food and nutrition; growing your own herbal medicine; and advice for practitioners. The knowledge, skills and experience of the authors shines through. This is a very welcome book for those who have Lyme disease, as well as those who support Lyme disease patients whether family, friend or practitioner.
