Lost in the Broken Woods (Claimed by the Wolf)

£3.10

I helped an injured woman… and in return got pulled through a portal to a magical world and set in the path of a pack of wolf shifters searching for their mates.

When they find me, one will claim me.

I probably should’ve asked the woman what it means to be claimed. I definitely should’ve asked her what mating entails, and if there’s a way to get back to Earth.

But I didn’t, she disappeared, and frankly, I’d rather not make it back home.

When the gorgeous pack leader finally catches me, he tells me I’m never going to leave his side… then bites me.

And suddenly, I’m lost in a forest called the Broken Woods, being dragged into a violent society of which I know nothing about.

I’m starting to feel like Little Red Riding Hood; but my big, bad wolf?

He’s determined to win my heart.

Send help, because I’m going to need it.

I really enjoyed this book, hea romance with a magical twist and shifter too. It’s the magical world of Evare so if you haven’t read the series before I suggest you do but it works alone if you haven’t.

I lose myself in this author’s books each and every time. This has the feel of an old fashioned fairy tale to it but I cannot quite put my finger on why. That aside I loved it.
So often the female is so intentionally blinkered, purposefully misundertands or knowingly takes everything the wrong way, She says she wants one thing and honestly wants something else and the male just runs around after her thinking how lovely she is and it drives me insane! This is not one of those books, thank whatever deity you care to raw strength from.
Ezra was a strong character without being irritating. She handled being dragged from one world to another with grace and some bookcase climbing. She was a delight. Ivaylo told the truth even if it might show him and his pack in a bad light. He came across as caring, open to vulnerability and as having a strong sense of right and wrong. They each tried to understand each other and be kind, although it cannot always happen and this book is all the richer for it.
I can’t wait to read about the next pairing.

Ezra is on her own, having lost all of her family and just moved to a new town. She stops in a car park in the rain to help a lady sitting on the pavement, only to suddenly find herself in a new world, Evare, and is told that “the shifters will have begun their mate run. Soon, one will find you and claim you”. She’s not too sure about the situation but waits where she is trying to understand her new situation when a wolf comes out of the trees, only to become a man and bite her.

Ivaylo is the Alpha of the wolf shifters and has been hoping for a mate for hundreds of years. He smells her the moment Ezra arrives in Evare and claims her. He now just has to help her to believe in fate and that they are meant to be together. Though Ezra accepts that his den is hers, she is determined that they should find friendship first and learn more about each other; but how long can they resist the Frenzy and will Ezra be happy to claim Ivaylo as hers?

Another fantastically heartwarming story by Lola Glass; full of deep emotion, brilliant characters with great chemistry between them, plenty of humor and spice. It was lovely to see another part of the world of Evare that we first saw in the “Forbidden Mates” series. Great for a cozy read & I would strongly recommend.

This is another great story from Lola. I loved how the relationship between Ezra and Ivaylo grew. Ivaylo is so sweet xx
When Ezra came to Evare she brought the shifters hope and I loved that. Who knows what will happen in the next story but I absolutely cannot wait.

I loved this book from Lola Glass. It had an engaging storyline and I liked the main characters. I’m looking forward to the next one.
Previous books have irritated me with occasional grammar and spelling mistakes, but this one has been beautifully edited and I was able to enjoy Lola’s story-telling without distraction. Lovely.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. I read it all in one sitting because it was such an enjoyable story. Ezra is a lost soul and when she is drawn into a magical new world she finds new purpose, adventure and Ivaylo, a gorgeous shifter who claims her as his own. Overcoming the cultural differences to create a strong foundation for a relationship is the first challenge they must face.
