I bought this book as it is part of the study material for the marketing progamme I’m studying. I’m a third of the way through the book so far, and I’ve found the concepts to be clear and well explained, and the examples to be both interesting and relevant. The layout is fairly standard for a textbook, there’s quite a lot of colour though so that makes it a bit kinder on the eye.
Altogether 4/5 because it’s a very good book that will probably help you with your studies, but nothing to write home about.

I bought this book to assist me with a BSc (Hons) Management with Compliance degree course. I would not think to buy something like this otherwise. However, I am very pleased with my purchase. It seems pricey, but is well worth it. The book is well structured, gives excellent examples of real marketing issues in industry and is clear in its approach and meaning. I wish some of the other material I am studying was as pleasurable to read as this book. I am not into marketing, but if I was, this would be one of the first sources of information I would go to.

Currently studying for a masters in marketing. Whilst many lecturers state you should avoid text books in essays this item is good for revision. Additional information regarding marketing could be found on google scholar or other publications to make your essays and academic pieces more academically worthy and sound. But so far – it does what it says and has introduced oneself to marketing (having not studied it before this was necessary). This will be my bible for the rest of term!

I was please with the content of the book which cover pretty much everything in marketing. Powerful business tools are clearly describe and easy to understand. I will advise it to anyone who study for an undergraduate degree, or for an entrepreneur. However for a student at the master level this book does not delve deep enough. Having said that it is without any doubt a very compeling book.
