Very pleased with this book! It’s full of inspiration for creating your own mid century home. They’ve included everything you need to know to be able to source your own mid century pieces and I especially love the added twist with the dinner party and cocktail menu suggestions – so retro! I also like how Mini Moderns have styled their own products into the mix. Makes a fresh change to find a new book that actually caters to my own interests. Highly recommended!

I love this book. It’s beautifully illustrated and has plenty of inspiration. I notice some people have complained that there is too much emphasis on the Mini Moderns brand but there’s a clue I’m the title! A really great book to sit down and flick through.

This is a beautifully produced book, where the authors’ passion for their subject shines through. It is full of ideas, inspiration and nostalgia, with many of the objects evoking memories of my own 60s childhood. It has awakened in me a growing appreciation of Mid-century Modern design and designers. Furniture, lighting, textiles, ceramics, wallpaper and accessories are all covered, with tips on how to achieve the look on a budget. It is the kind of book I will dip into often for inspiration.

I really love this book with its different room layouts and tips from wallpapers and colour schemes, down to the little details like Portmeirion designs and inspiration for the boys from music and films growing up. Not only does it make the field of MCM design accessible and modern but it makes you want to discover more about this era in general.
Also inspired a little trip to Dungeness… Warning…this book may make you spend more money.

The most gorgeous book. Full of info, history of design and fabulous photos. Be warned though, you will be using Google a lot to try and find pieces from the book for your own home. Warn your Bank Manager!

I’ve always loved mini moderns products but I didn’t really know a lot about midcentury design. This book is so informative and inspiring, with lots of stories and images of midcentury classic design and it shows how these have inspired mini moderns design work. It also shows you how to get the looks in an achievable way. It’s such an entertaining, and detailed read with great photos. Also the included recipes and music for each of the interior designs is brilliant. LOVE this book!

I bought the book as I have a love of mid century design and liked the idea of having a book that helped you put themes together. I had no idea they were a design company and I absolutely LOVE their stuff. Now following them on Insta and have earmarked several wallpapers for my new home.
Mini moderns won a new fab
