This journal is a great tool for anyone freelancing or self-employed.
It is practical, providing proactive steps to help organise time, promote positive/productive behaviours and aid in critical thinking.
The journal requires an investment, but it is well worth it. Delivering numerous benefits. Helping you to become more capable in dealing with the day to day function of your business. The journal also steps you through goal setting and future planning. Providing a clear guide to maintenance and achievement of set goals.
The journal is bundled gifts and comes packed inside a suitably designed box perfectly in keeping with the Heroa brand. The journal itself is hard backed and finished with felt fabric, it is weighty and has a real professional aesthetic.

Wow, this journal is seriously under the radar. It seems it’s a hidden gem that only a niche few are onto at the moment. I’ve had it for several months now and love it. If you have goals you want to achieve and understand the value of hard-copy journaling, then this should be something you look into. OK, now onto my review…
The Heroa ‘Mind, Money, Mission’ Framework contains everything a great journal has:
1) Daily calendars, with space for priorities, reflections, and wins!
2) Weekly trackers to track your deliverables and rate the week and learnings
3) Space for notes and ideas throughout
4) Customizable pages where you could track income, expenses, addresses, etc
5) Important dates and events tracker
6) High-quality fabric cover and great quality gsm paper
But what makes Heroa’s stand above the rest is the framework itself. Heroa’s overall philosophy is that the different parts of our life (mental health, financial wellbeing, career/business progress) are all interconnected – struggling in one will cause you to underperform in the others.
So Heroa provides a framework for you to assess, understand, and improve each of these 3 areas together: mind, money, and mission. It includes:
– Audits to baseline where you are now
– Exercises to help you identify issues
– Action plans to work on them.
It’s a super useful mix of the most relevant lessons from psychology, finance, and productivity bundled together into a single journal. This makes it super useful for founders, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and business owners – or anyone looking to kick their overall wellbeing and productivity up several notches.
Handily, the Heroa journal is part of a broader package of Heroa.io products. They also have an app that is an end-to-end workflow for freelancers and self-employed and are launching a ‘Heroa Plus’ subscription service that will have even more of what the journal offers.
I’ll be checking that out when it launches, but in the meantime, I’d highly recommend this journal to anyone looking for something more substantive and supportive from their journals to give them that extra edge.
