I really like this book – it has lots of practical advice and there is something in for everyone from beginners to more experienced printmakers. Lots of tips, hints and how-tos as well as step by step instructions. The writing is clear and informative and l really enjoyed it, my only comment – and this is no reflection at all on the writing or the content, both of which are excellent, is that it would have been nice to have had it in a larger format, with more room for the text and to show some of the prints more clearly – but all in all l’d recommend it to anyone looking to explore collagraph print making

Really, really pleased with this book, exceeded my expectations!
I’m a beginner printmaker & had been looking for a ‘how to’ book – and here it is! Excellent step by step guide to creating your own prints by collagraph or dry point techniques. Loads of pictures, with each process described in detail; perfect for a beginner – but also for the more experienced print maker too as it’s full of ideas and new techniques.
This is certainly the best print / collagraph book I have found. I’m really excited to try out some of these ideas!

i ordered this book as I love collagraph as well as admiring Vicky Oldfields work. It is very informative and the best book I have bought for ages. I regularly work with other printmakers and several have put this on their Christmas lists as they so impressed! I recommend buying it if you are curious!

This book is a must buy for anyone interested in collagraph print making! It’s hugely insightful and very easy to read. It’s well illustrated throughout and explains everything very clearly.
The author is also FAB and her own artwork is INCREDIBLE, I’ve been a massive fan for years, so was very excited when she bought out this book.

A great book, written by an excellent printmaker and tutor. There is lots of information if you want to know more about printmaking and the many different ways it can be done. Nice straight forward narrative with just enough details to give you an understanding and whet your appetite for more. You can certainly get started with this book and try out the many techniques described in this book. The photos and examples are great, too.
