Book is very attractive and laid out well – but expensive and I needed the FODMAP app from Monash University to check on suitable foods.
Very informative about a low FODMAP diet but many products very specific to Australian market and many recipes from Chinese, Indonesian, Thai diet.

If I’d paid £20 I would probably write a different review. My biggest gripe with the book is that for £40 I would have expected more actual information. The author has obviously kept information out in order to keep selling the app,
which I can understand but am dissatisfied. I would have liked a list of high fodmap foods and medium fodmap foods alongside their low fodmap food lists. I’m aware that quantity can effect it being higher etc but just as a general guide. Do I think overpriced at £40? Yes, but do I think it’s worth £40, kinda, as I say I’d still purchase it again because I NEED it for a health issue. I’d be satisfied with the content at £20. I also have the app but learn better when it’s on paper. The recipes are useful and there are quite alot of them. It is a chunky book. But this is definitely a “cook book” don’t be expecting much more.
