RECOMMENDED – we LOVE this Usborne series. Bought for my 10yr old son, we’ve all found the concise explanations in this and in the Politics edition really informative. We’ve read them through and use them as references. Great for replying any questions arising from news and current affairs and to encourage saving and an understanding if financial value.

Such good books full with useful information. I couldn’t explain better to my 10 yo. Very good quality also.

Great book, that is very attractively presented.
I’m quite good and comfortable with money. I know a lot about it given my work and education. And I enjoyed investing in equity, not always succesfull , since I was in early high school. I’m not obsessed with money or luxury but life can be more pleasant and more of a gift if you don’t have to worry too much about it.
So maybe more so than eduction and upbringing I would like to instill some of my financial insights and skills on my children to hopefully help them later in life. The problem is to draw and keep their attention to such boring matters when attractive video games and streaming content is available to spend time on. And frankly there is very little educational material about money and investing for young children. Luckily both our children are avid readers and fairly good with maths. I handed this book to our oldest, a keen reader so there was a good chance she would pick it up. Otherwise I planned to use it for guided reading sessions which would be even better as that generally leads to better comprehension and a little debate on the topic. But she appreciated the gift very much and has actually started to read sections of it and asked a few questions. Can’t ask for much more. Excellent book.
