My son loves this book! The pictures are fabulous and he loves to join in. We bought this for a friend as we love it so much. It’s is a poem which is particularly important to early development and I think really helps get little ones really into books as they can easily remember how it goes. All the Julia Donaldson books are great. I would say this is better for a slightly younger audience – my son loves it from 1 and still loves it at 2.5. We had all sorts of problems when it got lost for a few weeks.

My son loves books and especially ones by this author. I really would recommend these. After a few reads your child will be able to join in and remember the patten of the story. The pictures are colourful and bright. Great for family story time and bedtime reading.
