What a fantastic book, loads of ideas for all ages, definitely a must buy to help all types of settings 5*****

I was rather disappointed with the variety of interventions and the lack of categories, or organisation. The lay out is very simple – no pictures or colour. Pretty much just typed pages of very standard ideas that are used in all early years and KS1 classrooms on a daily basis.

Attention grabbing, fun, practical ideas from beginning to end. Children respond with enthusiasm and go home and talk keenly about what they have done. Ideas are clearly explained. Roll on book two!

I ordered this book after having been recommended to follow the Mrs B’s Intervention Pick ‘n’ Mix on Facebook. She showed an insight as to what it was all about, and I knew straight away it would be ideal for my work within childcare. It’s so useful that I even took it into the nursery I help out at to suggest to staff there that it can help for planning. The book not just shows ideas for activities to do with young children, but also the learning outcomes too, which is great for early years curriculum.
Highly recommend to other people working in early years and education.
