Great book, shame about the poor printing quality- it’s missing several pages!

It’s been my kid’s bedtime story every day for the last 2 weeks! Very nice drawings, funny story, simple yet entertaining. Lots of children read it in our house and every single one loved it that is why I am recommending it. It encouraged my child to create her own comic books. She’s obsessed with narwhals now (which makes a nice break from Lego).

My daughter is obsessed with Narwhals, being 8 this book is not hard for her to read but she loves it. I wish I had found these sooner. She likes the comic style and the jokes.

My daughter thinks this book is hilarious. I wasn’t sure whether she would follow a ‘comic style’ text, but it’s really clear and very easy to follow. The book really appeals to children and made my daughter laugh a lot. She has really enjoyed this book, and has read it many times now.

My 5 year old loves this series of books. She’s re-read them several times. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the length of the books because for the price they are an incredibly quick read.

My daughter loves this book.

My 6 year old Daughter chose this book off a year 2 recommended reading sheet.
My son reads ‘dog man’ which is a comic style book and my daughter wanted something similar but girlie.
This is definitely a good alternative. Cute drawings but simple. She read it twice with me. A good non-threatening start for in-confident young readers. There a few ‘tricky words’ in there but my daughter soon got the hang of them after repetition.

Bought for a 5 year old with an older sibling that is into comic books (Dogman, Amulet, Hilo, Hilda etc.)
Really cute book with gentle themes. Recipient needed help reading but loves the characters (they are animal mad) and the interaction. Will probably buy the other books in the series.
Only gripe is it is very short for the money paid in comparison so some of the comic books mentioned above.
