Great magazine with nice pictures.

I have given 3stars as I felt that the blown up photos weren’t of good enough quality to warrant the money I spent on this. And I was disappointed. Sometimes you just can’t enlarge old photos and expect the quality to be good.

Printing quality wasn’t great.

I bought it for high quality pictures that Life is known for. And the pictures are quite OK. The problem is paper used. Here is the very last sentence of description: “This edition is printed using a high quality matte interior paper and printed on demand for immediate fulfillment.” I missed it when ordering and was very disappointed when the item I received was far away from the Life magazine standard I expected. The paper used is very similar to your everyday 80g plain office paper and pictures lack any contrast and detail. So, just be aware that it’s printed by Amazon on a low quality plain paper.
