There’s a lot of parts that have resonated with me. I really like how this is structured it in sense that anyone can pick it up. Whether it’s someone whose been training for year or only just started, there’s something to take away. The fact the book contains many different clients interests me in seeing different fitness journeys. Overall though really engaging stuff.

A really good read especially if you are unfamiliar with the gym language the book has helped me to understand what I am doing and to be confident enough to exercise alone.

It’s super easy to start a fitness routine at a gym and get a bit lost, partially when you’re surrounded by personal trainers constantly getting in the way of the machines, the spaces and the things you’re trying to use order to go in and get a job done. This book helps keep you focused on achieving the goal & preventing the distractions from making you stuck. Some of the illustrations, pictures and ideas come from very well practised individuals, so it feels like you’re getting knowledge from an established advice block. This really helped me stay on track and stick to a routine. It was also surprisingly motivating when I felt a bit lost. Great for anyone who’s keen on fitness or who wants to get started.
