No Plan B: The unputdownable new Jack Reacher thriller from the No.1 bestselling authors
£5.70
The gripping new Jack Reacher thriller from the No.1 bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child.
When your name is Jack Reacher, the truth is always worth doing time for.
Gerrardsville, Colorado. One tragic event. Two witnesses. Two conflicting accounts. One witness sees a woman throw herself in front of a bus – clearly suicide. The other witness is Jack Reacher. And he sees what really happened – a man in grey hoodie and jeans, swift and silent as a shadow, pushing the victim to her death, before grabbing her bag and sauntering away.
Reacher follows the killer, not knowing that this was no random act of violence. It is part of something much bigger…a sinister, secret conspiracy, with powerful people on the take, enmeshed in an elaborate plot that leaves no room for error. If any step is compromised, the threat will have to be quickly and permanently removed.
Because when the threat is Reacher, there is No Plan B…
‘Perfectly plotted, with bigger twists than ever before’ KARIN SLAUGHTER
‘The world’s favourite hero packs an even harder punch than ever’ PETER JAMES
Although the Jack Reacher novels can be read in any order, No Plan B is the 27th book in the internationally bestselling series.
No Plan B was a No. 1 Sunday Times bestseller in May 2023.

Still 20 pages to read. A typical Reacher book. There is no need for a plan B as nothing goes wrong for Reacher. Plan A all the way

Great collaboration by the authors and it looks like Reacher will be in good hands with Andrew. Good storyline and twists. Not predictable although some events a bit too convenient. All told, very enjoyable and I’m looking forward to The Secret.

Another classic thriller by Lee Child well worth a read

I read Teacher between ‘heavier’ reads, I’ve read them all in sequence and they never cease to be good to read.
Some might see them as formulaic but I just enjoy them for what they are – entertaining

Jack Reacher witnesses a tragic event in Gerrardsville Colorado. He is not the only witness but the accounts conflict. One witness sees a woman throw herself in front of a bus – clearly suicide. Jack sees what really happened – a man in grey hoodie and jeans, swift and silent as a shadow, pushing the victim to her death, before grabbing her bag and sauntering away.
But this was no random act of violence. It is part of something much bigger…a sinister, secret conspiracy, with powerful people on the take, enmeshed in an elaborate plot that leaves no room for error. This doesn’t stop Jack worrying away at the truth even though if any step is compromised, the threat will have to be quickly and permanently removed.
Another riveting read from Lee Child together with his son. If you’re a Jack Reacher fan you’ll love this.

I enjoyed the book and it still kept me captivated. It is Jack Reacher after all! However, I think having a secondary a secondary writer to Lee Child the story just seems to lack a bit of that intensity which has you turning the pages to see what happens next. In parts I think I could decipher those written by Lee Child and those his son. Still enjoyable with a “but”.

The story is a good one but it jumps around at first and this was annoying, but it was good once you got into it.
