On The Edge: A Dark College Romance (A Mayfair University Novel Book 3)

£4.50

It’s not the fall that hurts. It’s the sudden stop.

I shouldn’t be worried about attending funerals for those I love, and I shouldn’t be wondering if I’m the one who could get buried.

This new world is crueler than the last. With my horsemen slowly slipping away, I’m left with a numbness I’m not sure how to navigate.

Those I’m warned to keep my distance from keep dragging me closer as I struggle to breathe in this nightmare I’m living.

The show must go on though, and we must power through the pain.

The only thing I know is that we’re strong.

We’re on the edge of forever. Something tells me I’m not going to like if we fall.

But deep down I know it’s not a matter of if.

It’s when.

This is book three in Mayfair University, the story of Rosalie and the horsemen. Contains dark content. Visit author’s site for more information. This is a one female, four male romance.

I love this world BUT the fmc I hate. Never have I ever hated a fmc before but Rosalie is horrid, why they put up with her I have no idea.

Talk about a SUPER emotionally charged, angsty ridden, suspense building, mystery expanding, evolving hidden secrets, mind bending plot twists and turn and drama packed story.
On The Edge was heart racing, soul crushing, gut wrenching, yet mind blowing, flabbergasting-ly incredible from everything that Rosie and Fox, Ethan, Cole and Enzo aka The Horsemen had you endure all throughout.
Never allowing for a moment of reprieve in this wild, hectic and chaotic rollercoaster whirlwind that made K.G. Reuss keep you hanging On The Edge.
And yet it was all worthwhile!

Firstly it needs to be said that if there was ever an author who always has me wholeheartedly feeling everything down to the very core upon reading any and all of their books, then it’s K.G. Reuss!
On The Edge was the latest one, whether it was feeling joyful, adoration, love and happiness, or seeing heartbreak and feeling pain and sadness, whilst also experiencing extreme frustration, annoyance and anger.
You name it, K.G. ensured it was felt way deep down inside to the point of where it seemed like you were there right alongside Rosie, Fox, Ethan, Cole and Enzo in their POV chapters encountering all that they did too. Alongside the emotions and sentiments too.

The character development was on point yet again, adding an even more in-depth look into Rosie, Fox, Ethan, Cole and Enzo. Allowing you to truly get lost in each of their POVs, their inner monologue expressing all that was needed to be known, said and informed of right down to the littlest detail.
Particularly when it came to the progression from each of the characters, the unravelling of even more deeper and extensive layers in seeing what made them who they are. On top of seeing how that played into the growth, that some of them experienced and went through.
Especially in the many new situations and events they were faced with, hurtling them through major twists and turns from the shocking surprises that awaited them in what was quite possibly a wild rollercoaster ride narrative.

Despite Rosie, Fox, Ethan, Cole and Enzo having their own individual paths they had to navigate through alone at times, considering all that they were dealing with from all that was going on.
It didn’t stop or change the fact that there was an existing link between them that always seemed to found a way to have their paths interconnect back to each other. Even without the connection they already shared within their relationship.

Did the story leave you On The Edge? Why yes it did. Then again it wouldn’t be a K.G. Reuss book if it didn’t.
Although it was a little on the tamer side when it came to the cliffhanger that was delivered in comparison to the previous ones from the series. On The Edge still left you reeling, especially knowing now there will be two more books still yet to come, meaning more torture.
Yet there’s no doubt in my mind K.G. Reuss will definitely make it worthwhile.
Can’t wait to see where Rosie, Fox, Ethan, Cole and Enzo’s story will take us in Mayfair University series next book Into The Fire.

Again, another fantastic addition to the series, and again, I can’t wait for another .I would recommend this author and all of the series she has written.

This book certainly kept me on the edge from beginning to end! There is so much to unpack, lots of breadcrumbs and characters from the Chaos Universe showing up and being mentioned and a few big secrets revealed but then so many more hints and glimpses of possible events that my brain is still in a spin trying to sort it all out! Rosie and her horsemen really are getting in deep, and the tension between her and Anson is in full force. They are all on the edge of something big, and we have two more books in this series still to go. Although there is lots happening, it doesn’t really end on a big cliffy, and my heart is close to breaking with some of the possibilities of what may come. I just love the Chaos Universe, and I say it again and again, but I really don’t know how K.G. keeps it all straight in her head as there is so much going on. I can’t wait for more! If you’re this far along in the universe, you know what you’re in for, but please check your TW before reading.

Wow, what an amazing read, love Rosalie and the Horsemen. They certainly have a load of issues here, love that this series keeps it real and shows them all as what they are, troubled young people with a lot of baggage fumbling their way thru life.
Was amazed to find there’s still secrets coming out between them, wasn’t expecting that from Fox, excited to see who this plays out.
The bond between them all is forged thru all they’ve been thru, love the spicy group scenes. Rosie is a lucky girl with four hot guys, I still love Fox the most.
I’m not sure how I feel about Anson, is he going to be the snake in the grass?
Really hope that everything works out for Rosalie and her guys, they are all being pulled in different directions, somethings got to give.
Can’t wait for the next book, such a fantastic gritty story.

Things are really ramping up for The Horsemen and their girl. Secrets are discovered and kept hidden, and evil still threatens them.

This is an awesome series, and I highly recommend it. I cannot wait to read the next book in December.
