Once Upon A Tyne: The hilarious and heart-warming Sunday Times bestseller
£4.30
Complete with Christmassy gold cover, this is the perfect uplifting gift for Ant and Dec fans. (P.S. it’s a little known fact that you can give gifts to yourself, too. Go on, treat yourself!)
Told through the lens of every TV show Ant and Dec have made, this is the riotously funny journey of two ordinary lads from Newcastle who have gone on to achieve extraordinary things.
From their modest beginnings in Byker Grove through to their “unique” time as pop stars and an award-laden TV career, Ant and Dec are surely the most loveable double act on our small screens. With more laugh out loud moments than you can count, ONCE UPON A TYNE includes behind-the-scenes stories about their first scriptwriter (an unknown comedian called David Walliams), Saturday night fun and games with countless Hollywood A-listers, and celebrities they torture – sorry, work with – every year in the jungle.

Very funny, Very interesting .Good book on a rainy day

Firstly I’d like to say I read this on my kindle & didn’t have any problems. Although some of the reviews I’ve read are saying they couldn’t read it as the script was too small. I was able to read it without any problems. I personally chose to get the kindle version basically because I don’t really have the space for a collection of books anywhere.
Anyway I digress, firstly what’s not to love about Ant & Dec? The way they have the book laid out in conversation style as if they’re sat in front of you is brilliant, large font for Ant & a smaller font for Dec, which in my opinion was genius as you get to know who is talking at the time in the book. It is very entertaining & found myself laughing out loud at times. I totally recommend it to anyone that is a fan of these two.

I’m such a big fan of Ant and Dec and have watched practically every series they have done. I enjoyed this insight into their world ,in their words. As always made me laugh. Here’s to the next thirty years, I’ll be watching and hopefully reading their next book.

Loved this as much as watching these two on tv. Being a fellow Geordie ..I’ve always loved them. I love their chemistry and obvious love and respect for one another. I’ve followed them since Byker Grove days.. it’s like they are family. I just hope that we do get to enjoy them for another 30yrs. Thank you Ant & Dec x

All the way through the book you could actually hear both of them like they were in the room. Read the book in one sitting and I didn’t want it to end.

Funny but with the amount of content could have been much smaller book, therefore cheaper for a hardback.
