One Deadly Lie (DCI Danny Flint Book 6)
£0.90
A female health worker strangled at a municipal park. An elderly woman battered to death in her own home. Then, as Danny Flint and the MCIU start investigating, a third unidentified female is found dead on the M1 motorway.
Already stretched trying to investigate these killings, the MCIU are assigned another case – a young police officer left in a coma and clinging desperately to life after being beaten and kicked unconscious by a gang of football hooligans.
The four separate enquiries are Danny’s toughest challenge to date. But then a link is found that ties the three murders to a house in the centre of Nottingham.
As the net closes in on the killer the investigation takes an unexpected and bizarre twist as more bodies are discovered. With the death toll rising, Danny is left trying to answer a single question – just how far will this deranged killer go to conceal their one deadly lie?
One Deadly Lie – the sixth in the gripping detective series featuring DCI Danny Flint.

Love these books, the attention to detail is brilliant, feel as if I know Danny and his team personally, can’t wait for the next one.

I’ve enjoyed all of the DCI Danny Flint books so far. Difficult to put down due to the ‘diary’ style of writing. I know the next bit is only going to be a couple of pages so routinely read way later than I should do. These bags under my eyes are all your fault Trevor!

Fantastic book couldn’t put it down. I am local to the area he writes about so can visualise the events happening. So good I’ve brought all 10 books.

Not the best of the Danny Flint series but if you like police procedurals then this is a book for you.

When I started book 6 in this fabulous series I have to be honest and admit it took a few chapters to really get into the story. Initially the timeline had me a little confused starting in 1974 then jumping some years. Once the story developed it was a wonderful engaging plot with likeable characters with 5 murders in total. Already downloaded book 7 and certain I won’t be disappointed thank you. BP Sheffield.

Loved the concurrent cases and how they twisted and turned before neatly falling together. Excellently written and full of interesting police procedure on what was an extraordinary case.
