This has been excellent origami paper, and I am now happily folding cranes with ease. Greay shibori tiedye designs and beautiful blue colours.

I’ve never used tuttle paper before. If you are buying this expecting it to be similar texture to washi or chiyo paper, say, then you might be in for a shock. The paper is matt but it’s very smooth — smoother than printer paper. Folds well in all directions, doesn’t tear especially easy or go white at creases as easily as some other origami paper I’ve bought. I’ve only used a couple of sheets but I’ve not had any especial problems with sizes being off yet. It’s cheap, and for the value I think it’s amazing. And I said, the colours are lovely. Being cheap I wasn’t sure what to expect with the colours, and yes whilst it perhaps doesn’t quite have the ‘depth’ that good quality origami paper has, I think they’ve done really well. And it’s a perfectly good compromise for casual use.
I’ve posted a video of flicking through it. Which is quite a lovely experience.
Obviously note the size when buying — it’s really quite a large square for origami, and a bit excessive if you are only doing simple designs, unless you want to cut them into quarters/dollar proportions origami shapes.
