Although my first impressions were very good, I decided to wait until I’d had a chance to really test out the paper before writing a review.
It arrived stacked with one of each pattern, then repeated, which is a little annoying… I decided to sort the paper into piles of each pattern, to make it easier when folding a model that requires more than one sheet.
The paper measures 6″ (15.24cm). Often origami paper is slightly out of square, which doesn’t matter for some models, but is important for others… I’m pleased to say that this paper is very square, which is nice. I did a few measurements and found the paper to be approximately 64gsm and 73microns. It’s important to note that the paper is patterned on one side and has a complementing colour on the other, I noticed some people thought that the paper was patterned on both sides.
The paper folds nicely and holds a crease well, it folds to a crisp point without tearing. There’s a slight smell to the paper, but that’s to be expected, from the printing process, I can’t imagine the smell being an issue. Included is a small leaflet of instructions, they are okay, but as someone whose practised origami for a number of years, they’re not the easiest to follow! This is a shame, as it may put people off, especially if you are new to the hobby.
I include a selection of pictures, showing models folded from the paper. The first 6 are the models included with the instructions and the last two are a modular piece (Bascetta Star by Paolo Bascetta, folded from 30 x 2″ squares of paper) and a single sheet fractal (Hydrangea by Shuzo Fujimoto, folded to 4 and 6 levels, with a single 6″ square each).
Overall I’m very impressed with the paper, vibrant colours, that don’t rub off or smudge, nice and thin, a joy to fold with and very competitively priced.

Took a while to arrive due to current situation, but am pleased

The paper is beautiful – the patterns are intriguing, and the colours are bright. The paper’s quite thin, so easy to make origami with. The only issue I had was the packaging – they provide a sort of booklet cover, but the papers keep falling out. I’d prefer packaging or storage which encompasses all sides, something more like a box than a book jacket. If you have your own box – just a square tiffin box should work – then this product is great.

Excellent value for money.

Alot of paper, appears good quality too, good paper thinness without tear. My only issue is it can be very difficult to see the crease marks on the patterned side.

As origami paper this product is very good — right size, easy-folded. Bought it for my 6yo daughter, who really likes it.
However, if you considering buying this paper as origami beginner — the word of caution. Helping my daughter I found that, nice as these patterns look, it is much more convenient to use plain-colored paper for this purpose. The patterns are really distracting to eye — it is not easy to see folds and creases, which makes doing your origami project more difficult.

I bought this to make 100 origami flowers. Took me ages but it was worth it… it looks beautiful!!! Patterns are gorgeous and folds really easily, and amazing for the price. The colours in the other side were vibrant too, and the flowers I was making used both sides so that was so useful. Really really really happy with it!!!

Nice paper for the price, the colours are bright but not garish and the complimentary colours on the other side add contrast while still toning in. It’s also thin and holds a crease well – I’ve folded a few Lafosse butterflies with it and it works great for that purpose – I might fold a whole swarm of them for my wall it’s so pretty.
As with any patterned paper, it might be a bit tricky for beginners to see the creases on this – but if you fold a practice model in some plain paper first you’ll soon get the hang of it!
