A wonderful book, which my young daughter is mad about! Often we read this story two, three sometimes five times in one sitting!
We love doing the signs together and often whilst out and about she will sign the animals that she sees. Looking forward to reading the next Rhyme and Sign book.
I highly recommend this book for you and your little person.

It is so hard to find a good sign supported book to reccommend to families (I am a Speech and Language Therapist), I’ve found one! This is both a personal and a professional recommendation as my 4 year old loves it too!

The book has a really clear glossary to show you what the signs look like before the story starts but these same pictures are also repeated throughout the book.

The story has the lovely predictability and repetition that children love and benefit from. We followed the antics of these animals, it had us laughing at the silly things that they did and kept us guessing looking for the little mouse. It is a really worthwhile buy for any parent interested in signing with their little one, I will certainly be using this in my professional practice too.

This is a lovely story with great illustrations all by itself. The fact that it has the signing alongside makes it really different from anything else we read and more fun. It has introduced my older children to a whole new way of communicating and given them something fun to do with my toddler. What a great book.

Our Farmyard Friends is a captivating introduction to signing that had my children (4 1/2 and 18 months) hooked from first read.
Not only is it a delightful rhyme with engaging pictures it is a comprehensive enough guide for anyone completely new to signing to achieve mastery in just one or two read throughs. My daughter was able to mirror back to me all the signs after just one telling and frequently uses them in other contexts. The descriptions of how to make the signs are comprehensive with very clear visuals leaving little room for error. The guidance in the front of the book for getting the most out of it are well thought through. Signing along side the story seems to greatly improve my eldest child’s comprehension and retention of stories and it has whetted her appetite to learn sign language as an additional language. As a home educating family this is a huge plus to this great little story as it has ignited a passion for something incredibly valuable for us all and our community at large. Highly recommended and looking forward to more.

Without a doubt a thoroughly entertaining childrens book. Very colourful. Simple to read and long enough for children not to get bored easily so they will want to read it time and time again. Love the unique feature of signing within the book as this will help children not only with difficulties but let others understand their friends giving them the starting blocks of learning sign language. What an incredible Author.

As a childminder caring for a large number of different aged children this book has it all. The repetition of signs & words through out really help children to remember. Young children in particular are often fascinated by animals & boys just love tractors. The pictures are fun & clear & realistic. I would recommend this lovely book to anyone with young children

My grand children’s faces light up when they open the pages. They get lost and absorbed in a world of imagaination and fun. They can relate to these stories, more than most other stories, because they are brought to life with wonderful illustrations and fabulous rhyming text. Would recommend to all without hesitation.
