Great stories and lovely illustration

Well what can I say, but what a lovely board book for little Peppa and George fans. It’s just like the other first storybooks in the range, sturdy and well made. It’s nice to have a story about George for a change, to keep all the little boys happy. Best suited for the younger fans of about 18 months upwards. Would recommend.

Sinple story but good, vibrant pictures with action noises to keep tots entertained. It’s about George Pig, so great for Peppa fans. My 2 year old loves this book and enjoys flipping through the pages himself and it’s fine as the book is hardcover. I got this at a bargain price so pleased with this purchase.

It is nice to have a peppa pig story with George as the main character for a change, and the overall message of the story is a good one for young children – perseverance. George is racing his new car when a wheel falls off, but instead of giving up, peppa helps him fix it so he can continue.
These series of books are really well made for toddler hands. Small, but not too small and with a nice sturdy cover that won’t bend even under the most enthusiastic little ones hands. As a nice touch too, the corners are a little rounded to make it a little safer — for those that tend to get a bit too animated at story time …I have had a few cardboard corners to the eye over the years while reading stories so I am appreciative of this feature!
Why missing a star? Well despite everything going for this book my little two year old just doesn’t love it as much as other books in the series. “Fun run” and “fire engine” and “library” always get called for first by her….. That said, this is nice book, just not to her taste perhaps so much.

Good quality baby and toddler proof book. I bought this over a year ago and it is ready to my 2 children and played with by them both almost every night. It’s still going strong, the spine hasn’t broken or anything. Love it.

All Peppa board books are excellent quality. If I give my 2-year old niece a paperback she will probably rip it apart. I usually prefer those with less words and more exciting pictures as toddlers don’t know how to read yet. I would appreciate it if they came in a protective cellophane.

These books are one of the few sets that my kids keep asking for time and time again for their bed time stories. They are great, as they are fun and educational particularly for the younger ones. The kids are always excited with a new addition to the collection, particularly given they love their cars.
