Well written and easy to understand for those new to the various types of claim covered. Contains all one needs to know for routine cases and sufficent referencing to enable any external case law and the like to be found easily. Awaiting the new edition.

This certainly is an excellent book in terms of covering the whole sphere of personal injury law and the medical elements surrounding it, and it is very easy to read. However, some of the information and case comments are a little too brief. Also, as with many personal injury books it would almost seem better not to bother putting a section in about clinical negligence as the chapter is so brief on this area. Overall though, a very good book, if a little expensive.
