Pet
£3.80
I would have taught her to obey in the privacy of my penthouse, but her little stunt changed that.
My pet learned her place in public instead, blushing as she was bared, sobbing as she was spanked, and screaming as she was brought to one brutal, humiliating climax after another.
But she has so many more lessons to learn. Lessons more shameful than she can imagine.
She will plead for mercy as she is broken, but before long she will purr like a kitten.
Publisher’s Note: Pet includes spankings, rough sexual scenes, intense and humiliating punishments, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Not much of a story line – what there was was basic and often included pointless descriptions .. 3 pages of short sentences based on the main character simply getting ready to go out.. really?? Less full stops and more connectives needed to make writing flow and less boring! Whilst the steamy scenes were indeed that, the book was flat unless you have a thing for humiliation and kitten play. Each to their own!

Great twist and turns, with a beautiful end. A must read for the crime lovers as well as erotica lovers

Has all the top brass; role play spankings and best of all lots of sex. Of all of Sara’s books, this is the first time I’ve given only 4 stars. A little too much s&m without love.

I wanted to enjoy this book and some parts I did but on the whole this book was just a contradiction on every page it seems.
The book opens with Silas talking about his friend who he loved and she was like a sister to him and he wants to find her lost child and protect them only for the first thing he does when he finds said child (now an adult) is degrade, humiliate and SA her in a room full of the people he should be protecting her from, thus putting her on their radar.
He is supposedly part of an organisation called The Seven and the other 6 have also vowed to protect the girl but are happy to stand by as Silas turns her into his pet in a not completely consensual way.
Pet play is fine and elements of it were written well in the book however Silas’ character is nothing short of a sadist. He punishes Chloe excessively often for no real transgression and purely for his own sexual gratification. The author makes sure to tell us how aroused she is by what’s being done to her but it seems forced in more ways than one. There was also little to no after care.
I’d also suggest the author use a thesaurus because they used the word keened twenty times and it became annoying and just made things seem repetitive. There were also several editing errors.
I love forced proximity books, I love bdsm books, I could have loved this book

In fact at many points a turn off!
Abusive, degrading, and just -Nope!
I can enjoy a dark romance, some bdsm? No problem.
But not this
The number of beatings – we are talking deep muscle bruising.
Not to mention no real warmth from the MMC, he only kisses her twice and not before demanding O or even A type sx.
Ok he’s .A psychotic, uber controlling , sadist and she’s rude, obnoxious, totally lacking in self awareness or the ability to read the room.
She’s also incredibly needy and masochistic. Perhaps they’re a match made in… Somewhere?
I rarely give reviews, unless a book is outstanding.
And this one was
I kept reading hoping it would get better, it didn’t.
Not only did it turn me off, I now feel traumatised.
I’ve read other books by this author and enjoyed them, but this book, no.
Tone down the beatings, the need for the MMC to even control a woman’s ability to do a number 2 without getting punished and maybe characters that are a little more likeable, THAT I WOULD HAPPILY READ!
