   This is a classic that brilliantly captures the atmosphere of the RAF between the wars. The dark war clouds have still to gather and the RAF has the air of an exclusive flying club. But, the skills and attention to detail of the Central Flying School set the pattern of training on which thousands would soon pass through the huge wartime training schemes. If you like flying and flyers this is a delightful and interesting read.
