I found the book to be a bit weighty to follow with the exercises it suggests ok once you manage to download them. To be honest I have learnt more from looking at the tutorials on the pinnacle website and trial and error.

I use the programme to edit my home movies. I have used Pinnacle Studio for many years and am pleased with what I can achieve with version 24

A great book, well written. However, I have a couple of comments: Firstly, while the Contents listing is great, the Index at the back lacks sufficient entries. Also, the book is written based on downloading a “Test Project”, to which the author frequently refers to show methods. I personally would have preferred the excellent ‘manual’ to have been free-standing and not tied to the above mentioned Test Project.

Pinnacle Studio 24 has evolved from previous versions. New features have been added or updated. This book shows step by step instructions by using simple projects to help the reader get the most from the software in a well written, easy to understand format.

Could do with being a bit more basic. Also I wanted to find out how to upload music. My own music. The book said we don’t want to do that. But let me show you how to write your own music !!!
