It gives anoverview of the practice nurse role in primary health care and the factors which influence that role and its development including the context of, and challenges for, practice nursing. Areas covered include legal issues, management, health promotion, nurse prescribing and community development. The book follows the format of other successful books in this area (Gastrell, Naidoo).
