I bought this product as it was a suggestion as part of my degree course and I’m very pleased that I did.
Despite the fact that I have worked in a health and safety environment for many years and have previously completed my NEBOSH, I found this book to be very informative, concise and easy to read.
It will be a reference book that I will probably refer to for many years to come.

I bought the 3rd edition in 1994 when I started as a safety professional, purchasing new editions as they are published.
This is an absolute must for any person taking the NEBOSH General Certificate.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. We had borrowed a copy from a friend so knew what we were buying. Useful book would recommend for those doing training courses.

Bought because I am doing IOSH managing safely course. This book covers well over what is needed for this course.
It is easy to find your way around the book and it’s informative. I use it as a reference book. It does have some practical examples to help you get into it. Otherwise it’s really quite dry and packed full of information. Sections are H&S management techniques, workplaces & work equipment, occupational health & hygiene and law.
A good buy for me as I am just starting out in H&S management and will continue to refer to this book in the future.

I bought this on the recommendation of a H&S Exec as I was about to embark on my NEBOSH. I hadn’t touched H&S for years so a lot had changed in this time. I have to say I found this book invaluable and a ‘Must Learn’ before embarking on any H&S courses particularly something like NEBOSH/IOSH. It makes a good reference book too, I felt I was much more prepared going into my course having read this book first.
This book is an easy read using all the NEBOSH ‘Speak’ and terminology. I can’t recommend this book highly enough!

Really impressed, i got this recommended by my Manager as I am currently doing my NEBOSH General Certificate and it is clear information and only covers key points on each area of law, regulations etc

This is a great book, covering everything you need in an understandable way. A great tool for me as a trainer.
There are some areas that are out of date, such as what fine a magistrates court can award, RIDDOR and CDM, but it’s a book and that’s what happens!
I would recommend this book.
