Nice book, the writing is smaller than in a different book that I’ve ordered, which is a lot better. I am trying to learn print handwriting and this has already been helpful, even though I’ve only had it for a few days.

I like the workbook since it has a fairly good balance of male-female ratio of scientists and short pieces of information and trivia about them. There is also good progression of short to long texts to advance the practices.

I work in an environment where readable handwriting is paramount. I got this book half as a joke to show some of my coworkers how we should be writing at all times, but ended up really liking it! Not only is the handwriting section really well explained (with arrows and numbers to show how to write correctly) but the quotes and facts section was really interesting.
I’d say maybe less than half of the facts would be general knowledge, so despite being for teens, it can also teach a thing or two to adults!
It starts with smaller quotes and facts, with more support for the handwriting practice but the facts length gets longer throughout the book with more space for free practice.
There are plenty of lined pages at the end as well for additional practice if required.
