Professor Problems (The Brotherhood: Legacy Book 3)
£4.70
Jamie didn’t go looking for the perfect dom, but during one, wild weekend that was supposed to be a rest before the storm of the new school year, the perfect, newbie dom found him. He’s never connected with a play partner like that before, and once the weekend is over, his deepest wish is to find him again and build something true and real outside of the scene.
He should have been careful what he wished for…
Aled only got involved in the BDSM scene on the suggestion of a family friend as a way to deal with a family tragedy. He didn’t expect to find a perfect, older man who would submit to him and make him feel like everything outside the scene would be okay. So when he turns out to be Aled’s advisor at university, he has no idea what to do. On top of that, how can Aled balance a relationship with the challenging demands of his broken and traumatized family?
His family means everything to him…but could Jamie mean just as much? How can he choose?
Professor Problems is the third book in The Brotherhood: Legacy series…which tells modern-day stories of the men of The Brotherhood. It involves a kinky weekend getaway, a jealous ex, giggling and flogging, ethical conundrums, a heartbreaking past, a sister who needs all the love and protection she can get, and, of course, the nearly two-hundred-year-old organization known as The Brotherhood. You can read more about the origins and Victorian doings of The Brotherhood in The Brotherhood: Origins and The Brotherhood series.

Really enjoying this series and this is a wonderful story of unlikely partners Jamie and Aled who meet though a mutual friend at a Brotherhood BDSM weekend. Aled has a really sad family history and Jamie helps Aled overcome his worries whilst he continues to help his sibling. Well written storyline and a great connection between MC with really nice ending. Highly recommend.

This is an enjoyable read. The writer has a really easy to read, engaging style that hooks the reader into the storyline.
The plot is interesting and the settings are varied and add different elements to the story. The weekend get away is a fun glimpse into part of the characters lives but not the only focus.
The characters are great and I like the varied relationships; from sibling to romantic. There are some amusing and some really moving moments. Kit is a great character and has moments of almost ‘godfather’ moments where he pulls strings and eases the path for Aled and Jamie.
I like the way the relationship between Aled and Jamie is allowed to develop without being forced and there are some really sweet moments between them in the book.
I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.

I really love the new installment of the Brotherhood Legacy series.
Jamie and Aled both have their baggage and their kink lifestyle is a way to be just them for a while and let go of their responsibilities and past. When a mutual friend puts them together for a kink weekend retreat both realise that there is more to their chemistry than just being sub and dom.
Real life than pushes them together again and both learn to navigate through Aled’s family and past and professional implications. Nothing is pushed aside, their issues are dealt with through communication and affection. I love how Jamie is carving his connection with Aled’s sister and how Aled and his siblings give Jamie the family he needs.
Equally Jamie teaches Aled to be selfish to a point and let his worries go without stopping being the caring brother for his siblings.
Aled’s past has led him being more grown up than most of his age and it shows in his outside-dom behavious equal to him being a dom in the bedroom. There is an age gap but you don’t really see it, if at all, Jamie is often see younger as he was left to fend himself when cut out from his family.
When Jamie’s ex is causing problems you can see the depth of their relationship and chemistry. I could have taken Jamie and wrapped him up to keep him safe from his ex but luckily Aled does the job brilliantly.
Even if you normally don’t read books with a kink relationship, this one shows it without going into too much graphic details and the story is so much more than just the scenes.

Jamie & Aled meet on a weekend retreat hosted by The Brotherhood that was supposed to be a rest before the storm of the new academic year, and once the weekend is over, their deepest wish is to find each other again and build something true and real. So imagine their surprise when Jamie turns out to be Aled’s advisor at university.
The third book in the series & it’s easily read on its own. I loved both Jamie & Aled, both had lots of baggage but their connection was immediate & the chemistry between them was off the scale. I loved how Jamie helped Dawn & in doing so eased the burden on both Aled & Jeremy. I also loved how Jamie & Aled were there for each other & prepared to make sacrifices for each other. Another very well written quite emotional story which had me tearing up at times as well as laughing
My review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Whaou! I loved it. Age gap, young Dom, older sub, BDMS, dom realises his sub is his university mentor and professor.
Brilliantly written. Great read. Highly recommend it.

Jamie and Aled were well-drawn characters, with Merry giving us information at the beginning to understand enough about their situations, then revealing more organically as the story developed. Meeting and immediately feeling attraction, they had a weekend to get to know one another in and out of the bedroom. The way they felt comfortable and safe with each other showed, with Aled able to apply and practice his Dom skills on an experienced sub, and Jamie happy to submit to ‘Sir’ realising that the new Dom was already very accomplished and intuitive.
Their scenes together were very hot but I also liked the quiet moments between them at the weekend retreat then later at the university and their homes.
What I found difficult was Aled’s sister who was more of a caricature than was necessary. One of Jamie’s colleagues was so unprofessional, divulging others’ personal information to all and sundry, and that wouldn’t have been tolerated at the University. Worse still, Jamie’s ex was just so over the top and the whole storyline with him was unrealistic and unbelievable. It didn’t spoil the story for me but it was close.

This is another good addition to the series this is book three and is Jamie and Alex’s story, they met on a brotherhood weekend retreat, they connected and their chemistry was great, both men had a lot of baggage in their lives but together they helped each other and others with their experiences, I enjoyed the ending of this story and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
