I asked the recipient of this book — a gift for their first birthday — to provide a review for the people at Amazon. Following a thoughtful glance at the colourful magnets on the fridge, they murmured with some consternation “dadada”, alluding to the technology’s disruption of our knowledge of the nature of the world. Their hands clutched the book, then opened it upside down and pushed the book against the floor: “dadada!” Their eyes glimmered with hope as they looked back up. It was clear what was being said. The final utterance would ring in the social consciousness throughout the ages: “dada.”

Love the quality and content of the book, my 18 month old daughter loves it! She has started saying bit and data already. As a computer scientist this pleases me

Bought as a comedy gift for friends and their six month old daughter – went down a treat, highly recommended 🙂

Not too sure what I was expecting, but the idea of stretching young minds is one that appeals to me. However, this should always avoid embedding misconceptions and on page two, this book doesn’t help itself.
It’s a shame because this could have been good. The text and pictures are both minimalistic in quality and appearance – this is never going to be a book your child will spend hours over.
I would recommend avoiding and have a suspicion other books in the series are similar.

Bought as a gift for a newborn baby whose dad works in Computing. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m actually very impressed. The pictures are in black, white and red and of the sort that even a small baby could focus on, while the text will keep parents entertained. I want the Organic Chemistry one next!

My husband is in tech so this is a perfect book for him to read to her.
We have others from the series and they keep my daughters attention and she’s interested in the simple designs on the pages.
These books are great for stimulating babies and short enough that they don’t get bored. They all end right when my baby is starting to lose interest.

Pleased to say my eight week old baby has just been accepted as a junior quantum physicist and can only assume it was down to this book. Excellent stuff.

I got this book for my baby daughter since she loves flipping through pages. The book is durable and will stand up to being man handled.
The book does do well at discribing quantum computing in an ‘ELIF’ fashion.
I was disappointed with the pictures in the book since they are very simple and many other children’s book have much more detail and colour in them.
