So I have been looking around for another book to get me back to quantum physics.
I have read quite a few over the past couple of months, and they were either super dry or quite clearly meant for someone with a background in physics.
So this was an amazing find!

Well explained and easy to understand for basically anyone, except I suppose toddlers because they can’t read. But who’s to judge?

This book Complements the older graphic book “Introducing Quantum Theory” by JP McEvoy, perfectly and brings the outline explanation of Quantum Mechanics up to date for 2023

Carl Pratt’s book on quantum physics is a solid attempt to break down a complex scientific field. The handling of intricate theories and principles of quantum physics is commendable. While it dives deep swiftly, the commitment to make the content digestible is evident.
The bonus content, using superhero abilities as a physics exploration, adds an unexpected yet intriguing layer. It doesn’t overshadow the primary focus, rather, it enriches the experience, stimulating further thought into the principles of physics.
One aspect that could be improved is the book’s accessibility for beginners. Some of the theoretical transitions could benefit from more comprehensive explanations or simplified analogies.
Despite minor areas for improvement, the book makes strides in bringing quantum physics to a wider audience. It’s a worthy read that encourages conversation and curiosity about the subject.
In conclusion, Carl’s work is a commendable blend of hard science and popular culture, making quantum physics more approachable. I look forward to his future contributions in this field.

Bought for my son whos a science geek hes 12 and loves it

The book is extremely short, with less than 100 pages and huge font size. It just barely scraps the surface on quantum mechanics and doesn’t really try to internalise the topic. There are much better books out there.

Overall very pleased with this book.

An excellent explanation of the history and concepts of quantum physics without the associated complex mathematics.
