Every athlete who spends time in the weight room eventually deals with pain/injury that leaves them frustrated and unable to reach their highest potential. Every athlete ought to have the ability to take the first steps at addressing these minor injuries. They shouldn’t have to wait weeks for a doctor’s appointment, only to be prescribed pain medications and told to ‘take two weeks off lifting’ or, even worse, to ‘stop lifting so heavy.’ Dr. Aaron Horschig knows your pain and frustration. Hes been there. For over a decade, Dr. Horschig has been a competitive weightlifter, and he understands how discouraging it is to tweak your back three weeks out from a huge weightlifting competition, to have knee pain limit your ability to squat heavy for weeks, and to suffer from chronic shoulder issues that keep you from reaching your goals. Rebuilding Milo is the culmination of Dr. Horschig’s life’s work as a sports physical therapist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and Olympic weightlifting coach. It contains all of the knowledge he has amassed over the past decade while helping some of the best athletes in the world. Now he wants to share that knowledge with you. This book, designed by a strength athlete for anyone who spends time in the weight room, is the solution to your struggles with injury and pain. It walks you through simple tests and screens to uncover the movement problem at the root of your pain. After discovering the cause of your injury, you’ll be able to create an individualised rehab program as laid out in this book. Finally, you’ll be on the right path to eliminate your pain and return to the activities you love.

I bought this book as a present for my partner. We are both really in to fitness and lifting. We already follow Squat University on Instagram and watch the videos on YouTube. The book is fantastic, it is really clear, explains everything in simple language which is easy to understand and follow with informative diagrams. If you do any type of lifting then I would definitely recommend this book as a must to help keep you moving and injury free.

Great book as expected. Squat University puts out great content and this book is a hard copy of a lot of that info

If you have anything more than a passing interest in lifting weights then you need this book. So much practical and valuable information contained within it. Much cheaper than a physio appointment. My warm up and assistance work will be much improved from it. Hopefully this keeps me injury free and in the weight room forever.

Knowledge is the key to diagnosing any issue, then it makes sense to start arming ourselves with knowledge about our body. I have spent the best part of 6 years with back pain from my previous military career.

This book has been instrumental in my recovery it has provided me with the information that really gets straight to the point. I recommend this book to anyone who is really serious about recovering and even if you are not injured it is also a great insight into how we move and what common weaknesses are.

I purchased this for the hubs for fathers day as i knew he had been hankering after it for a while. So far he has found it very informative as he has a few injuries from weightlifting and hopes this will help him get back on the platform

Do yourself a favour and buy this before you spend another penny on rehab/physio/chiro. Self-diagnosed my chronic back pain and now working towards solving the problem rather than throwing band aids at it. If this book was $200 it would still be GREAT value for money, as it is, complete steal. Probably the best, most useful, best value thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon. Bought two at once and sent one to my best mate who also loves it so consider this a 10 star review. Thanks Aaron!

I posted on my Instagram page that my copy had arrived. I was in the gym the following day and my Personal Trainer and his brother immediately asked about the book. (Points to me, because they were impressed I owned it). I then instructed them to invest in copies immediately because I couldn’t see how they could do their job without it. Fantastic resource. Beautifully put together. Well done.

Useful information. Could be presented more clearly but it’s a very good reference.
