Royal Honor (Dragon Royals Book 5)

£3.80

My unruly kingdom will bow to me as queen… or we will all perish.

My men and I are under attack from all sides. My evil uncle invades the isle. The chaos god stalks Caldren. The uncontrolled Scourge sweep across the kingdom.

I’m fighting for the future of the isle. But I’m also fighting for a happy ending—for Talisyn’s eyes to light up with memories and for Zehr to finally take his place at my side. For Jaik and Caldren, even after having gripped the crown, to take their places at my side… together. For Damyn to surrender to the desire between us.

Chaos will try to tear us apart.

But I’ll bring us all together… or die trying.

Don’t miss the exciting conclusion to Honor’s story!

    Stars given on level of engagement;

5 stars – less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me – extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.

4 stars – 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.

3 stars – takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.

1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I’m not engaged. .

May has given us a wonderful finale to the dragon royals series!! The story of Honor and her mates continues with them trying to save everyone from the scourge, her uncle and the chaos god, Ebba. While they work towards thier HEA, many twists and turns and emotional fallout later, they finally get to be together as they should be. Beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists, this series has become a favourite of mine and I highly recommend it. Don’t miss out on this series!

A wonderful story. So well written and it had so much going on, that it held me in its thrall right to the end. I can sometimes get fed up after book 3 of a long series but not this time. I’ve loved ever minute.

Brilliant series. Perfect for fantasy lovers! Set in a make believe world with pre-industrial vibes, just with magic (and modern plumbing which is magic all in its own!). Honor and her boys go through an enemies to lovers academy vibe start to a chosen one, save the kingdom, touch her and you die finish. Very enjoyable read!

I Devoured This series over a couple of days.

Full of Mysteries, Secrets, Action, flaming battles and steamy steamy scenes.

Honor is a Kick Butt Heroine, The Royals are Arrogant caring, brave and Loyal. Then theres the Lord of the scourge and the dragon Knight.

    An honestly epic series.

…but all the books need a thorough editing; they get progressively worse & some passages have to be re-read to make sense due to the error.????
I truly found this a great series, I just find it incredibly frustrating when you can’t follow the story clearly. It takes away from the experience & enjoyment.

it’s been questionable all the way through and most definitely in this last book whether Honor will ever get her HEA ????
Although this book starts off with the harem separated: Jaik and Caldren attempting to bridge the gap between prey and predator shifters; Lynx and Branok trying to keep the capital and Academy going; Talisyn and Damyn are attempting to find Honor and check she’s not get herself in anymore trouble; Arren is with Honor attempting to deal with Zehr and the repercussions of his actions! Somehow circumstances bring Honors and all of her men back together ???? an absolute blessing as between Joachim, Kallus and Ebba they’re fighting a war on three sides… not helped by the continuing erratic behaviour of the Scourge ???? there’s certainly some connections going on between these three but it’s unclear as to who is actually pulling the strings. and for some of them to what ends – can they really trust what any of them are saying or up to ????
There are plenty of trials and tribulations for the group throughout this book including some real shocks and heart stoppers!! ????
What I’ve really enjoyed is the character redemption arcs throughout these books for the boys, this last book has focused on one’s major redemptions as well ???? they do finally come together as a family unit ????
Everything is wrapped up in this series finale ????

I loved this story I’ve not been able to put this down, even reading when I shouldn’t be! My favourite character was Talisyn although they were all great!
