Every year I buy a long, slim calendar because it fits perfectly on my board, between the family photos. They are always cheap and ok but this year I was tempted by this RHS calendar with its exotic flowers. They are watercolours from a nineteenth century album and totally stunning. I had to pay more than usual for this calendar but every month of 2024 I will be able to discover a flower that I never knew existed, although now these South African specimens sometimes appear in bouquets here in the UK. I received one from a friend not so long ago and I found it featured in this calendar. There it was in August. I was thrilled.
Besides the beautiful pictures I must mention the quality of the paper. I will not be shredding these pages as I have done in previous years. I will mount them on card or use them to decorate the pages of my journal.
I strongly recommend this calendar for its quality and beauty.

As good as I would expect for a calendar
