Ideal to learn all about Rugby Union. Bought this for husband as he started watching more rugby on tv and he had limited knowledge of rules etc. I’ve never really understood the game so book invaluable to us.

This is easy to read, understandable and well written. But this is not a good book to read on Kindle. Some of the diagrams are so small as to need a magnifying glass. And it’s more of a dip into book, not really a read from cover to cover guide. It helps to be able to look back at the diagrams when reading other parts of the book. I sent my copy back and purchased the paperback edition.

My partner has played rugby all his life and my sister has also started playing rugby too; therefore I decided I should start learning a bit more about rugby. All the terms they use at the rugby match – I just nod along. So I decided I was going to buy this book and start to learn and understand rugby. I’ve only got to the second chapter and it is a great book. Especially for me, whom I didn’t even know much about rugby just the basic of 15 players and scoring a try on the try line. This book is great, there are pictures and diagrams and simple terms to help understand the rules and regulations of rugby. I definately recommend this book to anyone out there who wants to top up their knowledge or like me to start from the bottom. It’s also at a great price so you can’t go wrong!
