    For someone like me who has recently changed their profession and ventured into sales, the book “Sales Glue” is concise, easy to read and is a permanent resident in my brief case for quick and reassuring reference.

    You learn from other people’s experiences and mistakes and what Matt has cleverly done is to combine his knowledge within the sales industry by providing useful sales tips and advice, whilst also using psychology and motivational aspects to help with your sales development.
    I would recommend this book as a must read!

    There are stacks of books on sales. Sykes succeeds, where others fail, with an easy to read style outlining some great sales processes and explaining the psychology behind them. Each chapter finishes with the key ‘sticky notes’ to take away. If you follow the principles, you can’t fail to improve your ability to sell. Well worth £11.99 and 90mins of your time.

    There are a lot of sales books out there but for me this was by far the most easy to grasp and action straight away at work. This book is ideal for both beginners to sales and ‘veteran know it all’s’ too. Matt’s style of writing is clear and concise. I’d agree that it really is the vital ingredient that makes sales stick. Must buy!

    My shelves are full of self help books! Basically they all in a round about way say the same things. I was recommended to read this by someone who like me has probably seen all and every sales angle out there. I’m glad I have read it as its taught me another level. A new level within myself that I have neglected being honest. Just invest and see for yourself how hopefully it will help you open new doors in your life.

    I read this book in an evening as once I started reading it I was gripped as it gave me clear points to consider to ensure that i improved my sales game! The book motivated me and has pushed me to create action plans and targets in a certain way, and really change my selling techniques long term. It is an easy read unlike some of the larger more confusing business / sales books!

    It is obvious from the outset that the author draws on a wealth of sales and business experience, what this book has that some others lack is a real empathy with what the reader may be going through, it’s not a “happy clapper” approach to sales success but a realistic and very clever look at not only how to succeed at work, but also in life.
