I reached out to Cory when I was in need of advice on how to build a playbook for my department.
He was kind enough to send me a unedited copy of his book, before it was published (twice because couple of weeks later he updated the book and was kind enough to keep me up to date).
The book is 100% fit for purpose if you want to build a sales playbook or update your current one.
Cory wrote the book because a lot of people had questions and because there’s no other step by step guide on how to write one.
The book is full of tables that enable anyone to start working immediately and prompts the reader to utilise their experience by providing the context by asking the right questions, give examples or refer to his other book Triagle Selling.
A lot of people will just read this book to get ideas, but I had to create something in a fairly short space of time with my management team and others in the business and I’m not exaggerating when I say that without this book I wouldn’t be able to deliver.

Building in scalable sales processes takes a LOT of time, researching and testing. Especially the sales playbook!
Although we have a playbook (somewhat) the insights I have learnt from this book have fuelled endless ideas and structure to our newly developed sales playbook.
A highly recommended read. Either for building from scratch or developing what you already have. No doubt I will refer back to this book as our team continues to grow.
