Very interesting ! A lot of information . Pity the book is rather small and cover is not strong but I guess this is the reason for the price . Bought for my son of 8 . He loves it !

Someone once bought this for my son who is now 21 and he loved it. So this year I bought it for my grandson who is 11. I particularly liked all the links that you can go to, to expand your understanding. My son and I would often read a few pages and follow the links so I hope my grandson is doing the same. Great book.

Used to have an older version and is as good as I remember. Info is clear and with plenty of diagrams. Very happy with this book, as it covers near enough everything without going into too much advanced info.

A Christmas gift for my 11 year oil niece to help her with her school work , a nice laid out book , with easy to find section on all aspects of science , would have preferred a hardback for this size of book , I suspect the cover will soon become tatty.
