SEO 2021: Actionable, Hands-on SEO, Including a Full Site Audit (Webmaster Series)
£4.80
In 2021, how many SEO books & courses can offer that type of search engine optimization? This book can!
Google is on the SEO warpath. Anyone caught breaking the rules or trying to manipulate rankings through aggressive SEO techniques, will find their website dropping out of the top 10, top 100, or out of the search results altogether. Commonly taught SEO techniques can now kill your rankings!
Google released a whole menagerie of animals (Panda, Penguin, Pigeon, etc), but also employs humans to rate your content. You cannot fly under the radar any more. Gone are the days of fast rankings with SEO loopholes. Today, SEO can be dangerous if you follow the wrong advice. Most free online SEO advice is very wrong because it’s either out of date, or written by someone that doesn’t do it for a living. I’ve been studying, testing, and teaching SEO for over a decade.
SEO 2021 is a book that will teach you the safe, white-hat search engine optimization strategies I personally use to get my web pages (and those of my clients) to rank high in Google. This is battle-tested, white hat SEO that I’ve learned, developed and tested over the last decade. On-site optimization techniques that I was teaching my newsletter readers back in 2008, are only now becoming mainstream in SEO. I play by Google’s rules, meaning I never have to wake up after a major update and wonder if my sites have been hit.
With so many algorithm changes taking place at Google, you might be wondering how it is possible to stay up to date with all the changes. The good news is that it is easy once you acquire the right mindset. Understand what Google is trying to do, and give it to them. You won’t find me discussing loopholes or strategies to beat the system. What you will find is solid strategies & advice to create great content, build authority links, and increase your domain authority.
This book covers everything you need to know, including:
- What is SEO and what are the main rnaking factors?
- Major Google changes and how they have affected the way we do SEO.
- Creating the quality content your visitors want, and search engines love.
- Finding essential theme words and phrases for any piece of content you write.
- All on-page factors discussed.
- Scema & Structured data.
- Site organization & structure.
- What is authority, and how you can you incrase yours?
- How to get authority, white-hat, high quality backlinks.
- Giving your visitors what they want, while keeping search engines happy.
- A complete SEO audit to check for common problems.
SEO 2021 was written by search engine veteran Andy Williams of ezSEONews.com. He has been teaching this stuff since 2003, in his free weekly newsletter. If you want to understand what the search engines want, and learn modern search engine optimization that gets higher rankings through great content and smart backlinking, explode your traffic, AND have Google’s blessing, then you should read this book.

I have now purchased 3 of Andy’s books, which are a great accompaniment to his online courses.
I find both the books and the courses very informative and easy to follow. The step by step, detailed approach he teaches is pretty fool proof and provides valuable recommendations of free useful online tools to aide the process (which is very helpful as there are a plethora of options available, its a little overwhelming to a newbie!).
I also like the additional background information and history to SEO and content writing that he provides, it helps to understand how the process has evolved and why certain elements are so important now.
I came at these topics as a complete novice, but I feel like I now have a reasonable understanding and am much better prepared to build my own website and hopefully achieve decent SE rankings through high quality content.
I can’t recommend his books/courses highly enough 🙂

I’ve been a fan of Dr. Andy’s written guides and video tutorials over the years. SEO 2019 is the now familiar, easy-to-follow format that I’ve come to expect from his work. No one will ever complain that something is too easy to follow. It’s this no-nonsense approach to otherwise technical topics that make Andy’s books stand out. Best thing of all is that he keeps on top of current SEO practices and what to do if something breaks or needs a tweak.
It’s 5 stars all the way for me. Thanks, Andy.

Helps a newbie like me understand a lot more about SEO.

Hi Andy,
My partner bought 2017 edition last year and we are reading it now. A shame that we didn’t wait a bit more 😀
But we were wondering which ones are the main differences.
Many thanks,
KA

All right book, but some of the tools used /recommended feel obsolete
Not a bad read if you want to understand the basics of SEO

Dr Andy Williams is a very good teacher who knows the topic or subject he writes about thoroughly.
Andy ties-up big picture with nuts-and-bolts of subject or topic he writes about.
He teaches like a lecture-room teacher and you feel like you are in a lecture room, which incentivises learning.
SEO is fluid, which means you have to keep updating SEO-knowledge on an ongoing basis.
The fact that Andy has been updating SEO books regularly almost every year is proof in itself that he remains on top of SEO.
I have Andy’s SEO books from 2013 to the latest SEO 2019.
SEO 2019 overviews the changes that have gone on over recent years, but more importantly Andy thoroughly covers latest SEO requirements including:
• Mobile devices
• Latent Semantic Indexing (Andy is among the first few people who talked about themed content, but he followed it up and created software called Web Content Studio)
• Creating user friendly content
• Schema structuring
• Silo structured websites
• Internal and external link building
• SEO relating to YouTube
• And much more…
On a side note: Andy has written stellar software products like Keyword Research Analyser PRO and Web Content Studio, both of which are worth having.
