I would like to know about the coat pattern. All you are given is a very blurred image of pattern pieces… no measurements. Very disappointing.

Not a single pattern to follow in the whole book, just a few measurements and lots of guess work

I bought the paperback version of this book. Please be aware that the book doesn’t actually contain a single sewing pattern. This is fine for a few of the dresses as they require only rectangles, for which measurements are given, but there is a pattern for a princess tulle dress that tells you you’ll need a pattern for a doll bodice (a simple enough T shape, but you’d need to estimate the size), as well as a coat that has nine pieces but would be beyond my ability to freehand and size correctly from a black and white photograph. I’ve looked through the book to see if it directs me to a site where I can download the patterns but if it’s there, I can’t see it.
Disappointing but two stars given because of the simplicity of the patterns requiring only rectangles and the step by step photographs. Certainly not what I was hoping for and I’ll need to buy actual patterns to replace it.
