Sick Boys: A Dark Bully RH Romance (Spine Ridge University)

£0.90

I didn’t believe them when they said they would corrupt me.
I was wrong. So wrong.

The night my sister died, a piece of me died with her, so I made a vow.
I’m going to enroll at Spine Ridge University just like her, find the person responsible … and make them pay.

Until I meet three sick boys of the Skull & Serpent Society: Felix, Dylan, Alistair. Rude, heartless, vicious guys who are obsessed with making me regret I ever stepped foot on campus.

They make me a deal: My body in exchange for a glimpse at their violence.
Refusing them is impossible, denying them is insane.

They’re rough, greedy, and every second with them is filled with depravity.
Their venom is jabbed straight into my heart and I’m sucked into their world.
All for the sake of revenge.

Until it becomes something more.
Something priceless.
Something all four of us would kill for.

I’ve been meaning to read this and finally gave in and read it and I’m happy I did.
It managed to interest me straight away with the plot of the sister’s death (eve). That
Involved twist and turns that resulted in the dark truth.

There was alot of sexual relationship with the 4 people however throughout managed to create an emotion relationship and an obsession. I haven’t even read a book involving three men and I’m glad I started with this one.

I fell in love with all of them after everything they always found their way back to each other. They would do anything for her, kill or be killed, which made me love them more and showed their obsession.

I loved their personalities throughout is it made them different to each other which is a good thing. As this brought a different sense and result to the chapters.

The only thing that didn’t sit well with me was them comparing her to her dead sister. And by the end felt like the sisters death was a good thing. In some parts you see how much they were hurt by her death’ but in some parts it didn’t seem to matter.

However, I did enjoy this book and liked the ending of how they finally found the truth about her sister. And will definitely be reading the next one.

    Sick boys & girls!!
As much as Pen says they are sick boys she’s on par perfectly with them.

As their story unfolds the bad guys, twist n turners bad guys aren’t so bad wen it’s for good reasons.

I enjoyed this book, even tho I felt like I couldn’t pin down an age of the foursome. Late teens? Twenties?

It was entertaining, I must say… at best!! Considering the reviews was strong for “Sick Boys” more like “Demented” if anybody cares what I think…lol. What can I say-it was entertaining & good. It lack something however for me. I can’t put my little finger on what that might be, just yet, I’m sure it will come to me later on considering I thought “Breaking The Girl” a far far more superior read, practically in every way possible, compared to this one, indeed. And if you had not a chance to catch that one, chillieee !!! You’re missing out, we’re all over here fiening for book 2, never mind… where was I? Oh yeah I am not much for overtly (degrading kink) I guess I’m not the one… of course it has it place & time, but laced through the hole story, not a good look, anyhow, please beware the author is very strictly clear on CW (content warnings) with this book, it’s as graphic as they come. Serious “consent” issues. “Bullying” a contact sport. And sex? Welllll, it’s like drinking water when parched (giggling)-crazy all over the darn place & unbelievable. Shocking. Debauchery at its finest. I think the author was hoping for her readers depravity to sell this one. Miss me though.

Yeah, I kinder figured out now what bothered me about this book… it was so darn farfetched, I had to look at it like “seriously, you must be kidding me? Right?” Guess jokes on me.

This would appeal to most who like the touch of ooooutlandish, me I do like out of this world, and yet I preferred a more digestible, believable tale with awesome characters… and a even better plot, this one however I’ll forget in that pile of “there” but, not quite.
    Love ????

“I didn’t believe him when he said he would taint me. I was wrong. So wrong.”

    *mild-ish spoilers*

    Look away now.

If you’re looking for spice, this book has it in spades (which I’m not complaining about. At all. Hello degradation ????) BUT the whole thing/the twists with her sister?! Nah. That was too much for me. The entire time I was like so she’s basically just a replacement for her sister? ???? and the one guy, Felix I think? He was wayyy too jealous and possessive for this to be a convincing why choose romance for me. The spice was my favourite part and I liked Pen’s character overall.
