This book explained Spanish grammar better than any other book I’ve read – even better than anu of the teachers at my night classes. Yes you need to have a basic understanding of the language and not a complete beginner but I thoroughly recommend this book.

I just love Cecie’s books.
I like the way she writes and I like her sense of humour.
However this is the first Dummies book I bought for my Kindle. Previous books in this series have been hardcopies.
It just doesn’t work.
Finding the things of interest is laborious and flipping between exercises and the answers is just too difficult (even if you bookmark).
You have to resize things to fit – some tables only work properly in Landscape.
Sorry – I’m still a fan but not using my Kindle.

The cover is more sheer than I realised, and a bit flimsier than my previous case. The bottom part doesn’t fit properly, so I have a mix and match case now.

I am studying Spanish with Duolingo and am finding Duolingo is fine for vocabulary and speaking practice, but not so good with grammar. This book fills in those gaps, explains Spanish grammar well and also provides written exercises. The two together (this book and Duolingo), provide all you need to make a good start at Spanish.
