I love the main characters and the relationships that are developing between them. I found that I couldn’t put this book down. I’m so looking forward to the next book and wondering if Danica will succumb to Samael’s charms and if she will be able to put her relationship with her sibling back together. I also look forward to discovering her other family ties and the nature of them.

Think this is the first book that I have read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last. Loving the series and just to say I can’t wait to read the next one.

One could argue it very predictable but who cares there’s magic, witches, demons and plenty of other paranormal beings thrown into a world where magic has been forced down everyone’s throat. Our hero is a snarky witch forced to investigate murders by a very powerful foe.

This book is the first book in the series Deals with Demons by Stacia which is an urban fantasy.
It was fast paced and an enjoyable read, I only wish it was longer.
Its a good introduction to the world and characters, Danica is a snarky sarcastic bounty hunter who is trying to find out who killed her mother and finds herself bonded to the most powerful Demon overlord Samual, Danica is to work for him and find out who is killing his people. Two weeks is all she has or she is bonded to Samual forever.
I’m intrigued to see how the story unfolds, there’s a few unanswered questions.
Plus who doesn’t enjoy adventure with some investigating, Alpha Demons, witches, werewolves, fae light and dark, within the human population.
Smut level is low but I’m staying hopeful ????

I loved this story about Demon King Samael and bounty hunter witch Danica. Danica recently received photos of her murdered mother and is desperate to find out who killed her. She steals a knife from Samael and also tried to interrogate one of his guests but gets caught. Lots of demons are being murdered and Samael wants the perpetrator apprehended. He strikes a deal with Danica where she will be bonded to him for 2 weeks and if she solves the problem and kills those responsible, then he will let her go. Danica also has had her powers bound and has lessons from Samael to try and break through to her powers. There is a sizzling connection between the Demon and the witch and Danica doesn’t want to admit that Damsel cares for her. Looking forwards to the next instalment.

This writer is new to me but came highly recommended.
I have enjoyed this first book in the series.
The storyline was easy to follow & I found all of the characters enjoyable to read.
I plan to read the preview book to give a better understanding of when they first met.
