The hunt is on…But who’s hunting who…
When Danny Pearson’s ex-SAS friend goes missing, the old unit reunite to find him. The search leads them deep into a world of international drug smugglers run by the lord of the manor…
When Smudge rings from the Norfolk coast, he’s in big trouble. Danny and his old SAS teammate Fergus drive up to help him, only to find he’s vanished. When they search the holiday chalet, the only clues they find are Smudges diving gear and a sealed brick of cocaine.
Things go from bad to worse when Danny and his old SAS unit go head-to-head with drug smugglers and the Sport of Kings, run by Lord Bartholomew Harrington-Smythe and Sir John Riddlesworth.
Sport of Kings is the fifth in British thriller fiction writer, Stephen Taylor’s, bestselling Danny Pearson series. If you like edge of your seat, nail biting action and adventure thrillers, then you’ll love Stephen Taylor’s high octane books.

Bent coppers, twisted gentry, motor bike chases, bodies, drugs but best of all great team spirit. Well written, the best read in a long while.

Great book, great read.
SAS troops sorting a job and finding more to deal with.
If you like this sort of read, you will love this.
Looking to reading all Stephen’s books.

Great story and read it in almost one go. After a request for help from one of his old team the body count rises when Danny becomes involved in drugs and a rather elite club. Recommended.

As usual, a very action packed book with twists and turns that catch you out. Not everything goes to plan which makes it all the more enjoyable. On to the next book in the series

Lots of macho action where the good guys are tough guys who love to ‘banter.’ The ‘posh’ guys are so stereotypical even downtown their names it’s almost laughable. A quick read for your hols but no Lee Child.
by Alan Biss
A good action read but baddies a bit stereotype
