Good book, my only problem with it is the fact a lot of the recipes require ingredients I have never heard of and that you can’t purchase from a normal supermarket. A bit sad about this but overall it is a great book

I have very mixed feelings on this book, and it comes down to the recipes which you think would be a big thing in a recipes book.

The book itself is beautiful, high quality with lots of detail on the land and the history, on this it is better than I expected and I love it.

The problems come in if you have actually eaten at Black Spire Outpost. The recipes in the book are not really reflective of the food there. Take the Ronto Wrap on the cover of the book, a tomato backed minced pork with guacamole. In reality though it’s grilled sausage with peppercorn sauce and a tangy slaw. Wrong flavours, wrong textures. It’s possible/probable this was put together before the food was created but it’s such a shame as coming home from the land you want to recreate the food you had there but this book is not the way.

While this was almost a joke purchase for my cousin’s husband (a bit of a star wars nut) when delivered here it turned out to be a surprisingly well made and well thought book.

A range of different recipes, good meta information (difficulty, time), clear instructions and well presented photography.

I would recommend (but admittedly on presentation and readability, I’ve not cooked with it myself, that is happening in a village far far away).

We love going to WDW but as we are British not a chance this year, so we can try a ronto wrap I’ve bought this for my Star Wars loving OH for Christmas, it’s in there so possibly ronto wraps for Boxing Day ? Good size book excellent value.

This is a fun book with loads of ideas for food and drink, as long as you can get the stuff (some of it is referenced in American – chocolate Graham Cracker crumbs???) you should be fine.

Everything is really quick and easy, and each recipe comes with a prep and cook time, there is a hand conversion chart at the very back to help you convert cups to metric etc. There’s also a section on Dietary considerations to help you know if it’s vegan of Gluten Free.

The quality of the book is really good and the pages feel thick, and it seems like it’s gonna last around the kitchen.

It has sections on Sides and Snacks, soups and Stews, Bread, Mains and Deserts and Drinks.

Although it may appear to be a kids book, it really isn’t aimed at children, although they would have a blast making the breads I would expect.

This is a proper cook book, with a great selection to choose and try, with a Star Wars twist.

This is absolutely stunning, the whole thing is written in character and the food looks gorgeous. My 9 yr old loves Star Wars and cooking so this was a fabulous find. Really impressed!
