So, my little boy who’s 4 and will be starting primary school in Sept needed to do some activities to get prepped. I was going through this with him and I came across this activity to match up letters to the picture. How is my little boy supposed to find a picture that is not on the same page? The letter i is on one page and the pic on another. Then the letter l doesn’t even have an image. Poor little guy was so confused. So I’m a little disappointed in the book. Learning is hard enough for the little ones without tools like this making things more confusing. So, please be aware of this when buying. I hope the editors can see this and sort this out before another confused child comes across this

My 3.5 daughter enjoys this, very varied activities on topics I wouldn’t necessarily have thought of so more interesting (and fun) than some others we’ve bought! (For example, talking about healthy and unhealthy foods by drawing them on plates, drawing a self portrait.)

Nice and easy for a little girl

My expectations were low on how long this would hold my 4 year old’s attention. Surprisingly he really liked it and wants to do more pages than I think his attention span can handle. Some bits are tricky but most he can manage. He traces over and names shapes and identifies pictures by phonics. There’s some colouring in and mazes.

Such a simple book so easy for my daughter to follow in preparedness for school. She looks forward to working from this book every day

Bought for my son along with the entire Collins range. He’s 4 and eager to catch up the missed 6 months from school so we’re using these books.
He loves them, spending around an hour each day after school completing the very tasks and games.

It’s a very good book for children. They learn many things una simple way.

These books are well printed and useful however the title Is not reflected in the contents. They seem a mixed selection of drawing lines from a to b type things but I expected exercises to get you ready for school. A 3 year old could not use this ebook, much too complicated.
A useful book, bit not for starting school
