Full of useful information and ideas as well as offering advice on the basic tools and materials needed to complete
the projects (all of which are inexpensive and readily available).
If you’re a complete beginner or novice to making minis, it’s like someone taking you by the hand and walking
you through each step of every project. More accomplished makers will find inspiration and ideas for new projects
along with some different ideas on construction.
Absolutely recommended to all (and I’ve been making mini’s for over 40 years)!

My book arrived yesterday. Although the info about the book doesn’t spell it out, referring to the publisher as ‘CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform’, this is printed on demand by Amazon. Their print on demand book quality has improved greatly over the last few years, and the excellent step by step photograph sequences in the book were printed very clearly, with none of the blurring or dark photo print quality that used to spoil the early POD craft books.
Julie Warren’s work is stunning and the step by step instructions for the many projects are beautifully photographed. Everything is very clearly presented and easy to follow. Her miniatures are so nicely to scale (1:12), so nothing looks out of place or too chunky in the finished pieces. A treasure trove of designs that would could be used for both modern and period dolls houses. Highly recommended!
